HELP ME GROW PLUS

Help Me Grow Plus is a home visiting program for expectant families and families with children birth to age three. The program promotes age appropriate child development skills and parenting education. The home visits model and encourage parents to be active teachers to their children in their natural environment. The program focuses on the five developmental domains including: language development, cognitive development, social-emotional development, fine motor development and gross motor development. When children engage in play they are constantly developing in these domains.

Help Me Grow Plus offers additional screenings in the areas of nutrition, vision and hearing while also monitoring the child’s immunizations and encouraging families to have a consistent medical provider. While the focus is on the child’s development and parenting skills we offer supportive services to families and linkages to other community resources.
