Job Summary: Under general direction, coordinate, implement, and monitor nutrition services component of the Head Start/Early Head Start Program for children 6 weeks to age 5. Responsibilities include: Develop monthly menus and nutrition plans; order and track food supply; track kitchen equipment and other inventory; prepare purchase orders for food vendor billing; prepare documentation for USDA reimbursement; monitor and evaluate nutrition program delivery for Grantee and Delegate programs to ensure compliance; develop and/or update nutrition component plan and procedures manual; conduct nutrition training for parents, cooking staff and other staff as needed; performs other duties as required
Requirements: Completion of 4-year degree in Dietetics and/or Nutrition with at least three (3) years work experience in institutional food management; must be a Registered Dietitian (RD) of the American Dietetic Association (ADA) and licensed by the State of Ohio; must have a State of Ohio Driver's License and transportation. Summit County Residency; Fingerprint and background checks conducted.
Pay Rate: $36,441.60 Minimum (Pay Grade 26) . Excellent Benefits

Position: DISABILITIES COORDINATOR

Job Summary: Under general direction, serve as technical and training coordinator to Grantee and Delegate Head Start/Child Development Programs that serve children ages 3 - 5; organize and develop disabilities/special needs service plans; assist in instruction and training of staff in special needs program procedures; monitor, evaluate and report program progress; work in collaboration with external mental health, disabilities and speech/language professionals to provide holistic service delivery; educate families on how to secure and individualize needed services for children with disabilitiies or suspected disabilities; work closely with specal education itinerant teachers to promote quality classroom experience; assist in the planning and implementing of the individual Education Program (IEP) as developed by the Local Education Agency (LEA); attend/participate in program related training and workshops; perform other related duties as assigned/required
Requirements: Completion of a four-year degree (Master's Preferred) in Early Childhood Special Education or Intervention Specialist and two (2) years demonstrated experience working with special needs children (preschool aged preferred); must have knowledge of various behavioral, social and educational interventions and the ability to implement these intervention in various settings; must have a valid State of Ohio Driver's License and transportation; computer literacy; Summit County residency; fingerprint and background checks conducted.
Pay Rate: $36,441.60 - $45,614.40 Hiring Range (Pay Grade 26). Excellent Benefits

Position: TASK FORCE MEMBER

Job Summary: Under general supervision, assist in implementation and/or presentation of assault prevention workshops to preschool and elementary school age children; interact with children through age-appropriate role-play and guided discussions to teach assault prevention techniques and how to recognize and respond to potentially dangerous situations; prepare and distribute materials and evaluation forms; communicate results of evaluations to classroom teachers and/or school counselors; attend meetings, training and workshops as required/assigned; perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements: Completion of high school education, minimum. Any combination of training and work experience that indicate possession of the knowledge, skills and abilities to carryout the responsibilites cited in the job summary. Position: ACCOUNTANT

Job Summary: Under direction, assist in the preparation of agency payroll with functions to include: process employee payroll, pay taxes, make deposits for withholdings, transmit direct deposits, prepare employer's tax return, process garnishments, tax liens, bankruptcies, child support, annual W-2 reporting, cash advances, duplicate checks and other employee verifications; conduct account receivables functions that include: cash receipts, review and process invoices for payment of services, supplies, materials and equipment, calculate and verify for accuracy invoice totals against purchase orders on file, petty cash, update, post or prepare various fiscal control documents, receive invoice payment checks, compile fiscal and other data for agency audits; perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements: Completion of college education with a four (4) year degree in Accounting and three (3) years experience in a payroll accounting position or equivalent combinations of training and/or experience. Experience in ADP Pay Xpert preferred. Summit County residency. Fingerprint and background conducted.
